3. Beginnings-Jambu DWEEPA
A boy named Bhaarat along with his parents was watching Sri Krishna: Serial(so called mythological) on an Indian Television. The episode which he was watching showed that Amrita, Visha, Ganga etc.. are suddenly coming out of a Milky Ocean after it is churned using a big Mountain called "Mandarachala Parvata". Everybody in his house was so awed by the Special Effects shown in the Serial. They were so much overwhelmed by this effects more than the story in it. The episode was over. Everybody in home went to sleep.
Bharaat was still awake. He mind was full of the special effects of Serial, the lightning, the thunder etc... Suddenly a thing striked to his mind! "What does all this things mean?"
He took out the Internet and started searching the Puranas, Vedas where these things are mentioned.
Bharaat wanted to convince his mind that whatever was mentioned and shown in Serial has some reference, a basis, a Truth. He had belief in the Stories told to him by his parents, shown in Tv etc...
Well after searching and searching he is still getting so much information. He started making so many interpretations from the information he was getting.
He called his friend "Aryan" overnight to tell his "interpretation"
The discussion started:
Bhaarat said: "You should be knowing about Samudra Manthan, right?"
Aryan said: "Yes, the event that took place long ago in time. I saw the basic information in Wikepedia URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samudra_manthan"
Bhaarat replied: "Yes! Well, I have found something interesting!"
He continued..." The mountain where this Manthan took place is near Bihar(Baunsi). It looks like it is between the line that joins India with China, Nepal. Scientists say that because of Continental drift, the India which was part of Antartica (South Pole) some 750 mya(approx) started moving towards and near the equator." Bharaat showed the following photo on internet:

"So, maybe alongwith Himalayas, this mountain is formed because of the collision between the Indian and Eurasian plate?". May be this is what our Puranas, are trying to tell us in the form of story. Also it is said that the story was told in Naimisharanya near to Baunsi."
"Puranic dating also tells that the Manthan started long time after the start of Swetha Varaha Kalpa(around 1.8 bya-"b"illion "y"ears "a"go(rought estimate)). Our Indian plate also started its seperation from the Antarctican plate which was once a landmass called Gondwanaland around 1.2 bya".
"Just some years before the collision of plates the Ocean in between may have been covered with ice sheets which looked like milk. May be our ancestors has seen such an event and hence referred to it as Ksheera sagar(Milky ocean)."
Aryan Gasped with Surprise....
and said may be with a lot of thoughts running in his mind.
Suddenly they realized that it was night 10:00 PM. They thought that we can continue this interesting discussion next week Sunday.
Aryan said: “Bye…!”
Bhaarat replied: “See you next week again, since I have so many things to tell to Aryan.”
